NORTH / WEST BATTERY PARK CITY RESILIENCY PROJECT PUBLIC MEETING #2

Register here

Fresh on the heels of our popular “Walkshop” series in October and November, BPCA is hosting its next public engagement session on the North / West Battery Park City Resiliency Project.

The North / West Battery Park City Resiliency Project (NWBPCR) is mapping an approach for protective measures along the northern and western portions of Battery Park City to reduce the risks associated with storm surge and sea level rise. The project is being developed through a progressive design-build process and includes a regular and robust community engagement to ensure public input is considered in project planning.

We want to hear from you!

Please join us for the second NWBPCR public meeting on Thursday, December 16, from 6-7:30PM (this meeting will be conducted via Zoom).

Following a brief overview of the project, BPCA will host interactive breakout sessions to provide ample opportunities for you to share input and ideas. The goals of this meeting are to:

– Explain the NWBPCR Project goals

– Share information about the planning work completed to date

– Explain how the progressive design-build process works and its key milestones

– Collect public input on factors that may impact the project as it is developed

– Update the project timeline and how to share input throughout the project

– Please register to receive the Zoom link to this meeting.

– We look forward to seeing you there!
