BPC Sustainability Plan: Sustainability Roundtables

As introduced to Manhattan Community Board 1’s Battery Park City Committee last month, the BPC Sustainability Plan, now in development, will guide the sustainability efforts and initiatives in Battery Park City for the next decade.

Community input is integral to these efforts. BPCA invites you to participate in a collaborative roundtable on Thursday, January 16, 2020 or Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 6 River Terrace from 6-8PM. These first informative and informational sessions will introduce the BPC Sustainability Plan initiative to the wider community, and be designed to capture insights and knowledge from stakeholders and community members pertaining to topics such as waste & water management, open space & landscape, health, energy, transportation, and air quality.

The goal of the roundtables is to capture ideas, priorities, and actions from diverse stakeholders to help inform sustainability measures for Battery Park City. The BPC Sustainability Plan will be released on Earth Day 2020.

We look forward to seeing you there!
