Go New York, Go New York, Go! After a 53-year wait, we join basketball fans the world over in congratulating the 2025-2026 NBA Champion New York Knicks.
The New York Knicks Championship Parade starts at 10AM on Thursday, June 18, proceeding up Broadway’s fabled “Canyon of Heroes” from Bowling Green to City Hall.
Viewing along the route is free and open to everyone, no ticket required. Get there early, as crowds will form quickly.

Here’s what you need to know here in Battery Park City:
TICKER-TAPE PARADE KICKOFF – Approximately 12 parade floats will be set up on South End Ave at about 6AM on Thursday morning. The floats will Battery Park City at Liberty St from West Street.
TRANSPORTATION – Starting at 7PM on Wednesday, June 17, parking will not be allowed south of Canal. Cars will be towed if they are not removed. – Starting at 7AM on Thursday, June 18, south of Canal Street will be shut down to vehicular traffic from the Hudson River to the East River. The FDR and West Side Highway will remain open. – Traffic coming off the Brooklyn Bridge into Manhattan will only be able to go northbound on the FDR. Pedestrians will be able to use the walkway. – Staten Island Ferry service will run every 15 minutes between 7AM and 9AM and between 1PM and 4PM to accommodate Staten Islanders attending the parade.

FACILITY CLOSURES – The West Thames / Robert R. Douglass pedestrian bride will be closed beginning 7:30AM on Thursday, and will reopen after the parade.
– Wagner Park is closed for the duration of the parade and reopen thereafter.
PUBLIC TRANSIT – Starting at 4:30AM Thursday, the following subway stations will be closed. They will reopen following the parade and ceremony at City Hall.

– Individuals who work in office buildings along routes will be allowed entry into those buildings with proper building identification. – Individuals who live in the area will be able to access their residences with proper identification.
