Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC) co-presents performances with Battery Park City in celebration of the River To River Festival’s 21st season. Annually, the festival brings free outdoor, site-specific arts events in areas around Battery Park City, engaging acclaimed New York artists and the local community through dynamic activations, performances, and participatory opportunities across disciplines and practices. Visit LMCC.net/R2R for more details.

Artist and explorer Muna Malik returns to present a new site-specific art installation in Battery Park City. The artwork encourages visitors to engage and discover.

Interdisciplinary artist Gregory Corbino continues the traditions of the traveling show, circus, carousel and carnival with puppets made from recycled materials to create joyful performances. A former student of Bread and Puppet Theater, he engages the public of all ages in themes of social change and other timely topics.

Trombonist/composer Craig Harris plays rich, wide-ranging improvisation and creates compositions as varied as his source inspirations in spirituals, Jazz, avant-garde, R & B and hip-hop. His partners through the years included Lester Bowie, Sun Ra, Cecil Taylor, David Murray, The Roots and many more luminaries. He will be joined by an ensemble that elevates as it celebrates creativity.

Co-presented by Battery park City Authority and Lower Manhattan Cultural Council through a community partnership.
