Exercise in disguise! Join in on the fun featuring easy-to-follow Latin dance choreography while working on your balance, coordination and range of motion. Come prepared for enthusiastic instruction, a little strength training and a lot of fun. Participants are expected to bring their own equipment: weights, water bottle, hand towel etc.

Program is first come, first served for up to 15 participants.

Masks and contact information required upon arrival.

Spatial parameters will be set. Participants must remain 6 ft apart for the duration of the program.

FAMILY RECREATION: BASKETBALL

Rockefeller Park River Terrace at Murray Street, New York

Kick start your afternoon with seasonal recreation activities! Practice the basics of basketball with fun and challenging games and drills for all levels at the BPC Basketball court. Skill-building sessions focused on balance, coordination, movement and awareness. Closed-toe shoes required. Adult participation is required at all family recreation programs. Participants are expected to bring 1 basketball per player.

TAI CHI

Esplanade Plaza South End Ave. & Liberty Street, New York

Improve balance, strength and focus through gentle exercises. The sights and sounds of the river provide a serene background for the ancient flowing postures.
Program is first come, first served for up to 12 participants.

Strengthen the whole body from warm-up to cool-down with a variety of fun exercises. The instructor will lead you in rhythmic movement and aerobics, balance and coordination exercises, as well as strength training. Come join for a fun workout in the fresh air!
