Artists Mary Miss and Shuli Sadé discuss South Cove and its relationship to nature. South Cove was conceived by Mary Miss, Stanton Eckstut, and Susan Child as an artwork that was also a public space. With Bird’s Eye View by Shuli Sadé, South Cove becomes a site for art as well as an artwork itself. Both artists will also discuss how they address environmental issues in their work.

GO FISH! BATTERY PARK CITY’S CELEBRATION OF LIFE IN THE HUDSON ESTUARY

Join the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, & Dance for Music in Auschwitz. Featuring pieces arranged by Polish political prisoners who were members of the men’s orchestra in the Auschwitz I camp. Led by conductor Oriol Sans, a University of Michigan orchestra will perform pieces interspersed with lines spoken by the singers, from testimonies of the Auschwitz I men’s orchestra after the war.
