Paint in watercolor or use pastels and other drawing materials to capture the magical vistas of the Hudson River and the unique landscape of South Cove. Colombian artist Marta Blair invites the public to participate in a large-scale tape installation. Inspired by one of names Lenape people call the Hudson River: Mahicantuk, "River that Flows Two Ways", the waterway is a tidal estuary, emphasizing the mobility of life and multiple ways to flow and interact. By infusing color and large scale forms that mimic the flow of the estuary, Blair aims to recreate connections between nature and the urban landscape.
