The River & Blues Concert Series is a celebrated NYC summer tradition featuring Global and American folk, roots and blues music for 26 years! This summer, Battery Park City Authority presents four FREE concerts sure to delight music fans of all ages. Picturesque Rockefeller Park is the perfect summer show venue with breathtaking views of Hudson River sunsets, picnic-friendly fairgrounds and refreshing waterfront breezes. Multi-Grammy winning artists Los Lobos’ music embodies the idea of America as a melting pot, combining Tejano, son jarocho, and norteño with folk, country, rock ‘n’ roll and punk, creating a sound that’s greater than the sum of its parts. For more than 50 years this East L.A. band has been wowing audiences with daring and diverse recordings and legendary live shows.

Alynda Segarra, Hurray for the Riff Raff founder, has been something of a modern Huck Finn, an itinerant traveler whose adventures prompt art that reminds us there are always other ways to live. In their latest release, The Past is Still Alive, Segarra finally tells the story themselves, speckling stirring reflections on love, loss, and foundational scenes from their own life.

There is no assigned seating, first-come, first served. Picnics encouraged. Lawn chairs permitted, if the venue gets crowded, patrons may be asked to make room to allow for more guests.

No. We love your dogs, but unfortunately they are not allowed on the lawns.
WHAT IS THE POLICY FOR PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING IN ROCKEFELLER PARK?
Battery Park City Authority and artists’ management reserve the right to prohibit photography and video during the performance. Professional cameras and video accessories (tripods, microphones, extra lighting) are not allowed without prior consent. Food and beverages from The Bronx Brewery and Bastard Burgers will be available for purchase Audiences may bring outside food to picnic on the lawns at the show site.
