DESCRIPTION:Take a family trip to downtown Manhattan for an award winning presentation for kids in a fast paced\, highly entertaining introduction to Klezmer music and the instruments\, the immigration experience and the Yiddish language. The show includes a re-creation of a shtetle wedding\, complete with chossen and khalle. Yellow Sneaker features the Brooklyn-based performers and teaching artists Ora and Yoshie Fruchter. Families\, musicians\, and puppets will sing and learn together as a welcoming community.
