As Climate Week NYC brings global attention to the climate crisis from September 21-28, Battery Park City Authority is showing what leadership looks like on the ground.

Join us at one of our Climate Week events and be part of the conversation about building a more resilient, sustainable future together!

BPC BLOCK PARTY – Saturday, September 20, 11AM-4PM @ Esplanade Plaza
The revived community tradition is back for its second year. Learn how food waste is turned into compost for our garden spaces and even take some home for your plants! Kids can color decorations for the BPC compost bins throughout the parks.

E-WASTE DRIVE AT BPC FARMERS MARKET – Sunday, September 21, 10AM-2PM @ Irish Hunger Memorial Plaza
Co-presented with The Lower East Side Ecology Center, donate your unwanted electronics to be safely recycled.
