LET’S CHIP AGAIN!

Like We Did Last Winter

Help Battery Park City stay green this holiday season!

BPCA is once again collecting Christmas trees to chip and mulch for use across Battery Park City’s parks. Beginning Thursday, December 26, through Friday, January 31, simply place your tree without decorations at the curb for pickup by our Parks Operations team.

Did you know that since 2016, BPCA’s tree recycling program has collected and chipped more than 15,000 trees? That’s nearly 2,000 trees a year out of the landfill and right back into keeping Battery Park City beautiful. See more about our tree recycling program here – and please keep them coming this holiday season!
