REMEMBERING ADRIAN FLANNELLY

BPCA Marks the Passing of a Legend

Adrian Flannelly, aged 82 and titan of the Irish American Community for more than five decades, passed away on July 24, 2024. From his popular, eponymous weekly radio show to his pivotal role in creating and promoting the Irish Hunger Memorial, to his tireless dedication to bringing communities together with charm, wit, and force of will, Adrian’s was a life well lived and never to be forgotten. The Battery Park City Authority sends its most sincere condolences to his beloved wife Aine Sheridan, children Linda, Paul, Eileen, and Kathleen, and grandchildren Gavin, Falynn, Sebastian, and Scarlett.

Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 10AM in St. Peter’s Church, Little Bray, Co. Wicklow, Ireland followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. The Mass can also be viewed remotely, online at: https://stpetersparishbray.com/live-mass/.
