TRAVEL ADVISORY: SOUTH BATTERY PARK CITY RESILIENCY PROJECT (OCTOBER 7-NOVEMBER 15, 2024)

Starting Monday, October 7, there will be a Con Edison-required gas main relocation at the intersection of Battery Place and First Place (shown in orange on the above map). This work will be performed in approximately 40 linear feet of roadway. Flaggers will be in place while work is ongoing. Traffic will be maintained in each direction.

The work hours will be weekdays from 7AM to 4PM, with work expected to continue through November 15. Demolition involving the use of jackhammers will take place the first week.
