COMMUNITY NOTICE: CHAMBERS STREET CLOSED TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC, JANUARY 4-5, 2025

Due to necessary HVAC repair work by the NYC School Construction Authority on the roof of Stuyvesant High School this weekend, Chambers Street will be closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday, January 4 and Sunday, January 5, from 8AM-4:30PM each day.

Vehicles parked on Chambers Street will be relocated around South Battery Park City, starting from 4-6AM on Saturday. Pedestrian access along the street will be maintained during these hours with the assistance of flaggers and safety personnel.

Visitors to the Community Center at Stuyvesant High School, which will remain open from 1-9PM each day, should use the side doors along West Street through the 2nd Floor Tribeca Bridge entrance. Posted signs will also direct visitors to this side entrance over the duration of this work.
