The following temporary local street closures are scheduled in support of the NYPD’s 20th Annual Memorial 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, July 17, 2022.
The event will begin on West Street and Liberty Street and conclude on West Street between Vesey Street and Liberty Street. A ceremony will follow on the BPC Esplanade’s Lower Plaza. The Plaza will remain open to the public throughout.
Temporary Street Closures:
– WEST STREET: Between 9:30AM to approximately 12PM, portions of West Street from Albany Street to West 12th Street will be closed in sections based on the determination of the NYPD Traffic Division.
– From approximately 9:45-10:15AM—
o LIBERTY STREET: Will be closed to vehicular traffic from West Street to South End Avenue
o ALBANY STREET: Will be closed to vehicular traffic from West Street to South End Avenue
o SOUTH END AVENUE: Will be closed to vehicular traffic from Liberty Street to Albany Street
