Discover your narrative voice and tell your story through drawing and painting. Each week will feature  a different prompt, helping you to create images and words. Explore creating character, using perspective, drawing the human figure, and incorporating text and simple bookmaking techniques that will allow you to put your stories into a readable form. An exciting fusion of badminton and tennis, pickleball has been proven to strengthen muscles, boost cardiovascular health, and enhance brain function. Each Tuesday and Thursday the net at Esplanade Plaza will be lowered to allow for pickleball games, on a first come first serve basis. Permits are also available at bpca.ny.gov. No program 6/19.

Join this group of fiber art crafters for a fun afternoon of creativity and camaraderie. Bring your projects, which can include—but are not limited to—knitting, crocheting, embroidery and small-loom weaving.

Explore the wondrous ecosystems of Battery Park City through a naturalists’ lens. Young environmental stewards will practice observing wildlife using binoculars, learn catch-and-release fishing skills, and identify native plants in a fun and safe setting.
