    An exciting fusion of badminton and tennis, pickleball has been proven to strengthen muscles, boost cardiovascular health, and enhance brain function.     Drop-in for a talk with BPCA’s director of public art about Justice Reflected, the mosaic art adorning the Esplanade Plaza wall. See art that tells an allegorical story of justice and injustice, freedom, and incarceration in America. Learn about the artist James Yaya Hough’s life and his use of universal symbolism to express humanity’s complexity.

     

    Justice Reflected was created in 2022 for Battery Park City in partnership with the Art for Justice Fund.

    An optional art activity will be available.

    Drop-in for a talk with BPCA’s director of public art about Justice Reflected, the mosaic art adorning the Esplanade Plaza wall. See art that tells an allegorical story of justice and injustice, freedom, and incarceration in America. Learn about the artist James Yaya Hough’s life and his use of universal symbolism to express humanity’s complexity.

     

    Justice Reflected was created in 2022 for Battery Park City in partnership with the Art for Justice Fund.

    An optional art activity will be available.
