Our latest film series focuses on the unique narratives that highlight Australian culture, history, or landscape. In celebration of Earth Month, the Long Weekend (1978, Colin Eggleston) tells the story of a suburban couple who go camping for the weekend at a remote beach, where they discover that nature isn't in an accommodating mood. Free popcorn will be served, and a discussion will follow the screenings.

Enjoy poetry and live music inspired by Julia de Burgos' poem, My Cry Into The World / Mi Grito Hacia el Mundo. The free, bilingual, all ages performance will be overlooking Rockefeller Park and nearby playground.
