AUSTRALIAN NEW WAVE: LONG WEEKEND
AUSTRALIAN NEW WAVE: LONG WEEKEND
Our latest film series focuses on the unique narratives that highlight Australian culture, history, or landscape. In celebration of Earth Month, the Long Weekend (1978, Colin Eggleston) tells the story of a suburban couple who go camping for the weekend at a remote beach, where they discover that nature isn't in an accommodating mood. Free popcorn will be served, and a discussion will follow the screenings.
