Please join BPCA and Manhattan Community Board 1 (CB1) for the next South Battery Park City Resiliency Project joint public meeting. CB1 has graciously agreed to use its January Environmental Protection Committee meeting as a platform for this, the fourth in our ongoing series of public input sessions about South Battery Park City resiliency.
The SBPC Resiliency Project will create a continuous flood barrier from the Museum of Jewish Heritage, through Wagner Park, across Pier A Plaza, and along the northern border of The Battery. This meeting will include updates on the ongoing detailed design and engineering process with design firm AECom, as well as a full Q&A session.
The session will also include a quarterly update on the City of New York’s overall Lower Manhattan Coastal Resiliency (LMCR) Project.
