BPC PEOPLE – Anthony Robinson

BPCA Office Manager

Q• Where are you from?
A• I was born in San Fernando, Trinidad – or “Sando” as the locals call it – and currently live in Rockaway, Queens.

Q• Where is your favorite spot in BPC?
A• The BPC Esplanade.

Q• What is your favorite part about BPC?
A• All of Battery Park City is beautiful! I love the ambiance and tranquility of the water, and of course the blooming flowers in the summer season.

Q• When/why did you join the BPCA?
A• I joined on October 22, 1996. I recall the date like it was yesterday – it was destiny. Someone had previously declined the job, so I was asked to take the position. And the rest is history!

Q• What projects have you been involved in at BPCA?
A• So many over the years but by way of recent example I was involved in the fit-out of BPCA’s new space at 200 Rector Place, which includes office space, Allied Universal command center, kitchen, restrooms, and the new BPC Community Room.

Q• What is your favorite BPCA event?
A• My favorite event is the Swedish Midsummer Festival. Just a great event in a magical part of the city.

Q• What do you do in your free time?
A•I enjoy DIY home improvement projects and playing golf.

Q• What is one way you are trying to be more environmentally responsible?
A•I made the BPCA Zero Waste pledge this past Earth Day, and work on fulfilling it regularly by reducing, reusing, and recycling.
