BPC PEOPLE – GLADYS PEARLMAN

Title: Senior Park Host
Favorite BPC Spot: Robert F. Wagner, Jr. Park

Gladys Pearlman has been serving the Battery Park City community for three decades, having first joined the Authority in 1989.

During Gladys’ time at the Authority she has taken on many roles and has been an integral part of the Programming Department. You can usually find her at the Rockefeller Park house – also known as “Gladys’ Park House” according to the children who play there everyday. She is the go-to person for information about the area and about all the things the park has to offer.

In her spare time Gladys likes to read books, ride her bike, and salsa dance. She will be helping out at programs and events all winter long here in Battery Park City, so make sure to stop by and say hello!
