COMMUNITY NOTICE: CHAMBERS STREET SEGMENT CLOSED TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC, FEBRUARY 15-16, 2025

Due to necessary HVAC repair work by the NYC School Construction Authority on the roof of Stuyvesant High School this weekend, the segment of Chambers Street from River Terrace to North End Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday, February 15 and Sunday, February 16, from 8AM-8PM each day.

Pedestrian access along the street will be maintained during these hours with the assistance of flaggers and safety personnel. Chambers Street between North End Avenue and West Street, as well as both sides of North End Avenue, will also remain open to all traffic during these times.

Vehicles parked on Chambers Street will be relocated around South Battery Park City, starting from 4-6AM on Saturday.

Visitors to the Community Center at Stuyvesant High School, which will remain open from 1-9PM each day, should use the side doors along West Street through the 2nd Floor Tribeca Bridge entrance. Posted signs will also direct visitors to this side entrance over the duration of this work.
