COMMUNITY NOTICE: EMERGENCY RESPONSE TRAINING EXERCISE AT WORLD TRADE CENTER CAMPUS ON SATURDAY, JUNE 3

From 1AM to 7AM on Saturday, June 3, the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (PANYNJ) will conduct an emergency response training exercise on the south side of the memorial at the World Trade Center campus. Members of the general public may notice an increased presence of police and emergency response units at various perimeter locations of the facility before, during, and after the exercise.

Saturday’s exercise will focus on the emergency plans for mutual aid response, enabling personnel and local emergency response organizations to train together and validate response procedures. The exercise will include Port Authority police and civilian staff, along with federal, state, local and World Trade Center stakeholders.

The exercise is not open to the media.
