"Battery Park City and the Authority are not just about the buildings – it’s about the character of the community that has developed over time. Public space has had a new renaissance in New York City, but here in Battery Park City is where it started."

DOG RUNS RE-OPENED

UPDATE (June 30): Water play features at BPC’s dog runs have now been re-activated.

As part of BPCA’s phased re-opening of its facilities, neighborhood dog runs are now open and accessible to the public.

While BPCA continues to maintain the high standards of our parks, it’s up to each of us to ensure the dog runs are safe for all who use them. Please take steps to protect the community’s health and well-being:

– Keep a safe social distance – at least six (6) feet – from others

– Wear a mask in public when you cannot maintain a safe distance from others

– Avoid close contact, such as shaking hands, hugging, and kissing

– Clean up after your pet

– Wash hands often or use a hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available

Visit coronavirus.health.ny.gov or by call (888) 364-3065 for more info.
