As we plan for the future of New York City, we are becoming more and more connected to the water that surrounds us. Whether we’re cleaning up our rivers or launching new ferry services, NYC is constantly revitalizing and improving our access to and experience with our waterways.
Saturday, July 18 will kick off Waterfront Alliance’s City of Water Day, a free, family-oriented, celebration of the world-class potential of the New York and New Jersey waterfront.
City of water Day is the region’s biggest harbor festival. The festival will include free boat tours, the riotous Con Edison Cardboard Kayak Race, free rowing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, and the Waterfront Activity Fair. Food and music will also be a part of the festivities. The event runs between 10am and 4pm.
Bring the whole family out in celebration of Our Waterfront!
